Fiber Optic Patch Cable|MDC UPC to Duplex LC Fanout Fiber Optic Patchcord Singlemode G657A1 Flame Retardant LSZH 2.0mm

Unitekfiber's MDC/UPC to LC/UPC fiber patch cord is using MDC connector on one end, providing 3x fiber cabling density over duplex LC, while the other end uses an LC duplex connector, simplifying termination and management in duplex channel applications. Crafted with singlemode G657A1 fiber, MDC UPC to Duplex LC UPC fiber patchcord is bened sensitive (10mm min. Bend Radius). Housed in a durable, flame-retardant LSZH jacket, MDC fiber patchcord ensures safe operation in enclosed areas by minimizing toxic fume emission and smoke spread in case of fire. Designed for long term reliability, MDC fiber patch cord meets industry standards for high speed data transmission, making it a trusted choice for enterprise and carrier-grade network infrastructure.

High Speed Connectivity Solutions

400G trunk cabling solution utilizes a multi-fiber MPO|MTP trunk cable connected to two high-density MDC fiber optic patch panels. MDC/UPC-LC/UPC fiber patch cords connect MDC adapter panel with MDC end, and the duplex LC end connector to the 400G optical transceiver on the network equipment, ultimately completing the transmission and exchange of data signals and achieving high speed data connectivity for the entire network.

Improved 3x Density for Your Network

The design of MDC cable has a dramatically reduced ferrule pitch from duplex LC connectors, allowing for up to 3 times greater density than duplex LC connectors. MDC cable patch cord could reduce the physical volume of your fiber cabling infrastructure. MDC cable also lowers the number of fiber cables needed and eases congestion in high density fiber optic racks and fiber optic patch panels.

Using an MDC fiber adapter panel to accept MDC fiber patchcord on each side of the panel, up to 48 fiber per panel.

Fiber Optic modules cassettes use a denser MDC fiber optic adapter to achieve higher fiber counts over panels. A standard MDC module cassettes provides 72 fibers, using 12*MDC fiber optic adapter ports at 6 fibers each, with 6 MTP®|MPO fiber adapter on the back.

Effortless Installation & Rapid Removal

DirectConec™ push-pull release boot of MDC fiber patchcord offers 1.5 inches of finger space for easy removal, cutting removal times by 60% and making installation and maintenance faster. The single connector with duplex ferrules simplifies installation, reducing insertion times by over 40%, and minimizes the risk of misalignment. All of them, MDC fiber patchcord delivers a more efficient, user friendly experience that saves time and reduces labor costs in high density network environments.

Quick Change the Polarity Reversal of MDC Fiber Patchcord

MDC fiber connector features a tool-free reversal housing that takes just seconds to complete. Simply separate the MDC fiber connector housing from the boot, rotate the connector body 180°, align the groove, and reattach the boot. With the easy step, the MDC fiber patchcord ensures quick, reliable polarity changes, minimizing downtime and streamlining maintenance in duplex fiber cabling systems.

Widely Use in High Performance Connectivity

MDC to LC fiber patch cords are are widely deployed in data centers & hyperscale networks, using for highdensity cabling, connecting servers, and storage systems where space is constrained. MDC to LC fiber patch cords is also designed for direct connection into SFP-DD, QSFP-DD, and OSFP transceivers. Meanwhile, used for FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and CATV networks requiring high performance, compact, and low-loss connections.

What is the fiber type of this MDC to LC patch cord?

It uses Singlemode G657A1 fiber, which is bend-insensitive with a minimum bend radius of 10mm. As a perfessional fiber optic patchcord manufacture, we also offer multimode fiber glass option, such as OM1/OM2/OM3/OM4/OM5.

What is the cable diameter and jacket material?

The cable diameter is 2.0mm, with flame-retardant LSZH jacket.

What is the density advantage of MDC compared to standard LC?

MDC provides up to 3 times higher fiber cabling density than duplex LC connectors.

Is this patch cord suitable for 200G network applications?

Yes, it is specially designed for high speed data transmission and network connectivity, like 200G, 400G, 800G or ect.

Does this MDC patch cord support tool-free polarity reversal?

Yes, polarity can be reversed in seconds without any tools by rotating the connector 180°.
