In the GDTA hybrid fiber power cable, singlemode G652D fiber are housed in loose tubes that are made of high-modulus plastic and filled with tube filling compound. Also, the GDTA hybrid fiber power cable are available in multimode fiber glass. The PBT loose tubes and required insulated copper wires are stranded around the metallic central strength member into a compact and circular cable core. In the center of cable is a steel wire metallic strength member. Armored with laminated aluminum tape, and a PE sheath is extruded to protect the internal components. UnitekFiber's GDTA hybrid fiber power cable combine both single-mode or multimode fibers and electrical conductors, making them ideal for various applications where optical and electrical transmission need to coexist in one cable.

Rugged for Complex Challenges of Duct and Overhead Using

UnitekFiber's GDTA hybrid fiber features a rugged aluminum armored structure, ensuring it meets the load-bearing requirements of both duct and overhead installations. The PBT loose tube is filled with a waterproofing compound and wrapped with aluminum tape to form a tight moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant barrier, effectively protecting against soil moisture, acidic and alkaline corrosion during duct installation. The outer PE sheath is not only abrasion-resistant, reducing friction damage during duct installation, but also offers excellent UV resistance, making it suitable for long-term exposure in outdoor overhead environments. Through rigorous mechanical testing, it can withstand a tensile force of ≥1000N and a compressive force of ≥1000N/100mm. It operates stably in complex duct routes installations or in the wind and rain of overhead installations. Suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C, fully guaranteeing transmission reliability after installation.
