Fiber Optic Patch Cable|MDC APC to MDC APC Uniboot 2cores Fiber Patchcord Singlemode 9/125um 2.0mm PVC OFNR Rated

MDC fiber patch cord utilizes a 9/125μm singlemode fiber with an APC end face (IL≤0.3dB, RL≥65dB), significantly reducing signal reflection and achieving stable transmission with low insertion loss and high return loss, meeting the demands of long distance, high speed data transmission. The MDC connector allows for three times the connection density of traditional duplex LC connectors, accommodating 432 fiber cores in a 1U patch panel, effectively saving space. The push-pull boot of MDC patch cord makes plugging and unplugging easier in high-density environments, and allows for quick polarity switching without tools. The OFNR rated jacket ensures controlled flame spread, making it suitable for building backbone and horizontal cabling scenarios.

Key Feature of MDC Fiber Optic Patch Cord

1.jpg

Simple Installation & Removal with Innovation Push-Pull Boot

The push-pull release boot of MDC fiber patch cord offers 1.5 inches of finger space for easy removal, cutting removal times by 60%. The single connector with duplex ferrules simplifies installation, reducing insertion times by over 40%.

Durable Connector for Long Term Use

Utilizing reinforced components that comply with the GR-326 standard, the MDC cable can withstand frequent plugging and unplugging, vibration, and fluctuations in temperature and humidity, significantly reducing the risk of failure during long term use and making it suitable for high-intensity usage scenarios such as large data centers.

3 Times Increase in Density Cabling Wiring

With a low profile design, the MDC fiber optic patch cords deliver three times the port density of traditional duplex LC connectors in the same footprint, effectively resolving space constraints and port shortages in high-density data centers.

Polarity Reversal Easily

Just pull back the connector's strain relief boot, rotate it 180 degrees (flip it), and then reassemble it onto the connector housing, which swaps the internal fiber path without tools or exposing the fiber, with polarity indicated by markings on the connector and logo. This allows easy conversion between A-B (straight) and A-A (crossover) wiring for fiber optic applications, maintaining density and performance.

Meeting Diverse Transmission Required

The MDC fiber patch cord supports two polishing types: UPC and APC. UPC is suitable for conventional data transmission scenarios, offering lower insertion loss. And APC is suitable for scenarios requiring extremely low return loss (such as CATV and long distance transmission), reducing signal reflection interference.

Good Partner for Data Center & High Speed Transceiver Connectivity

The main application is in data centers, where space is at a premium and high port density is essential. MDC patchcords allow for significantly higher fiber density (up to three times that of standard LC connectors) in patch panels and racks, reducing cable congestion and operational costs.

Meanwhile, MDC fiber optic patch cords are designed as the interface for emerging high-speed (200G, 400G, and beyond) optical transceivers, such as SFP-DD, QSFP-DD, and OSFP modules. They support "breakout" architectures where a single array transceiver can connect to multiple individual MDC patch cords.

Do MDC fiber jumpers come with any protective features (e.g., dust caps)?

Yes, MDC fiber jumpers typically include dust caps, and strain relief boots.

What testing certifications (e.g., Telcordia, ISO) do MDC fiber patchcord typically meet?

It meet Telcordia GR-326, RoHS, UL or ect.

What is the maximum transmission distance supported by singlemoe MDC cable?

The transmission distance of singlemode MDC fiber patchcord depends on wavelength and transceiver type, singlemode patchcord is suitable for long distance transmission.

Are there any polarity considerations when installing MDC cable?

Yes, polarity is critical for bidirectional communication (e.g., duplex systems) to ensure TX (transmit) from one device connects to RX (receive) of the other.

Are MDC cable suitable for indoor, outdoor, or both types of installations?

MDC fiber patch cord are primarily designed for indoor use (data centers, server rooms, office buildings) due to their compact design and standard jacket materials.
