So far, the optical fiber communication industry has been developed for more than 50 years. In 1977, the first commercial fiber optic communication system was introduced, which was 45 Mbit/s. Currently, the capacity of single-mode fiber has exceeded 100 Mbit/s. Whether it is long-distance information transmission or short-distance information transmission, fiber optic communication can be seen. In 2008, data center demand for fiber began to surpass telecom operators, and data centers began to become the first market for fiber optic communications.
