12 cores MTP-MTP trunk patch cable is basically constructed with multimode fiber cable and high quality 2 MPT connectors on both side. The fiber cable is with high quality kevlar yarn and flame retardant LSZH sheath. The MTP connector is a multi-fiber connector and currently 12 cores and 24cores MTP connectors are most commonly used. The fiber cores with cable length can be customized as per customer request.
With our MTP/MPO, it's possible to run a single cable that automatically terminates twelve fibers in one easy plug-in. Plus, the small form factor of an MTP/MPO connector provides a higher port density. With its push-pull release mechanism, the MTP/MPO connector is easy to engage and disengage. Plus, its latch design prevents the plug from snagging when jumper cables are being routed. Straight-through pinning; immune to electrical interference.
Network Connectivity
The easiest parallel fiber optic transmission link of Base-8 MTP/MPO cabling is to directly connect two QSFP+ transceivers like 40GBASE-LR4 with an 8-fiber MTP/MPO cable. This type of direct connectivity is only suggested for short distances within a given row of racks or cabinets.
